#aoizorduna_scf2015

After a long period of time practically apart from painting, I am showing my artwork again in Madrid. During the last two years I have dedicated almost all my time to finish my Doctoral thesis in Fine Arts, directed by my friend, Dr. Alicia Sánchez Ortiz: COLOUR/NON-COLOUR: Whites in Western Culture. On March 17, 2015, I finally submitted a draft of it. I estimate that by the end of June I will defend this Doctoral thesis before the Court.

On the same day, March 17, through my friends Javier Gómez and Manuel Ródenas, the possibility arose for me to exhibit in Manuel Alvar Public Library  in Madrid (Azcona Street, 42), during the month of May. And, here I am!

On this occasion I have been assisted by Alicia Pérez Bayón who has curated this Exhibition and by the collaboration of Ángeles Penche Art Gallery in Madrid, with whom I have been working since 2002. We have hung a total of 27 pieces, including acrylics, oils and gouaches of various sizes; landscapes and still lifes, and also a nude. The exhibition is entitled SUPERFICIES-COLORES-FORMAS (SURFACES-CLOURS-SHAPES), and will be on display until May 24th during the Library’s opening hours.

You can visit it on my website and on Social Networks. Or download the Catalogue in pdf. But, in any case, I think it is always better to do a real visit.

I leave some photos that show how the exhibition is. I hope you like it and that you send me your comments to the hashtag #aoizorduna_scf2015.
