A commission to Moscow…
Through the ÁNGELES PENCHE Art Gallery, my Art Gallery in Madrid, I have made a painting to order: ENTRE GERANIOS, Jardines del Generalife II (AMONG GERANIUMS, Generalife Gardens II), (2018, acrylic on canvas, 87×69 cm).
It is a Granada’s Generalife Gardens landscape in vertical format, which was commissioned with specific measurements and format. It is a new version of another painting of mine that I did in 2007. The original painting was made using some of the drawings, sketches and photographs I did in the summer of 1999, when I enjoyed the painting scholarship from the Rodríguez-Acosta Foundation in Granada.
Once finished, at the beginning of December 2018, the painting travelled to her owner’s law office in Moscow.
