NEW ORDER: BREAKFAST FOR TWO II
Since last weekend one of my new paintings, BREAKFAST FOR TWO II (2020, acrylic on canvas, 50×50 cm), painted during the confinement in Madrid by the Covid 19 pandemic, hangs on one of the walls of the beautiful house of my dear friend Concha Sánchez Quintero. She commissioned me some time ago to place it in a specific space in her living room. It is a luminous still life with a landscape, bathed in the radiant light of Madrid on an early summer morning, in which white porcelain and a fruit bowl, also white, with oranges and pears, are the protagonists.
Here is the result. I leave you some drawing and painting process photos, and the still life in his new house.
