“Once again, Javier Aoiz Orduna surprises us with his unmistakable sensitivity to capture those moments of everyday reality that he so personally transfers with his brushes onto the naked canvas, whose surface is shown to be receptive to the harmonious games in which forms and chromatic masses are distributed here and there until they compose an endless number of scenes capable of enveloping us in an atmosphere that suggests a familiar and close territory. Perhaps this is a simple excuse by the artist to keep alive the dialogue with colour, the true protagonist of his paintings.
Urban spaces, country places or interior scenes make up landscapes that our memory identifies as areas of passage, while our imagination strives to turn them into personal experiences. His landscapes say much more than what they seem to show: they are the material support that makes the projection of this world so much his own possible. In short, paintings to feel.”
